the beginning

two years prior we met four days before christmas. of course we had to find our dream house in the same fashion. uncertain of the exact date of our first showing with mr. bud marshall, we received the signed offer on new year's eve. i will add that we were with our dear friends kerry and kim in portland, maine about to enjoy a fantastic dinner at fore street when we heard the news that the seller (well, her niece) was going to accept our offer. we couldn't have been more excited to ring in a new year with a 1800's farmhouse with a two story barn. oh and on almost a half acre fenced in yard. and we thought we were excited ... myles and calvin didn't know what was about to hit them.
